About Us

Hong Kong has enjoyed tremendous growth in the past three decades. Such enviable growth and economic achievement have been made possible through the success of infrastructure projects - the cross harbour tunnels, the mass transit railways, the new towns, the highways, the water supply and wastewater treatment systems. The new airport at Chek Lap Kok, the new container port at Tsing Yi and Lantau, the new Route 3 and the western corridor railway to the border, as well as massive sewage collection, treatment and disposal works are now under construction. These projects will ensure future growth as well as improvement in our quality of life. Engineering graduates from the The University of Hong Kong , particularly the civil engineering graduates, have made and will continue to make the most significant contributions in all of these developments.
