Applicants should have a first-class Bachelor's degree or a Master’s/PhD degree in a related field. Preference will be given to applicants with research experience in path optimisation or traffic flow simulation.
The research focuses on the technologies of artificial intelligence (e.g. machine learning and deep learning algorithms), digital construction (e.g. digital twins, virtual/augmented reality), robotics, and Internet of Things (IoT) to enable the integration of supply chain and realise the performance monitoring, diagnostics, prediction, and optimisation of project delivery processes for MiC buildings and infrastructures in the context of smart city development. Applicants should have a first-class Bachelor's degree or a Master's/PhD degree in a related field. Preference will be given to applicants with experience in hardware and software development for smart systems, IoT platform development and design, or are proficient in at least one computer programming language (e.g. C++, Python, C#) with research or practical experience in specialised software and simulation platforms (e.g. Unreal, Unity, ROS, Nvidia ISAAC SIM).
The research focuses on the investigation and application of new type low-carbon concrete materials in high-rise concrete MiC buildings, the investigation and application of high-strength and lightweight concrete, the durability of new type concrete materials in complex environments, and the application of new type lightweight concrete aggregates. Applicants should have a first-class Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering or Materials Science. Preference will be given to applicants with research experience related to low carbon concrete materials, fibre concrete and lightweight concrete.
The research focuses on MiC supply chain management, supply chain performance measurement and public policy analysis. Applicants should have a first-class Bachelor's degree or a Master's/PhD degree in a related field. Preference will be given to applicants with research experience in construction management, public policy and administration, statistical analysis and multi-criteria decision analysis as well as good English writing skills.
