Full Paper Format

  1. Authors are required to type the manuscript using the MS Word template (“APAC2011 Template.doc”) downloadable by clicking the first button below, and strictly follow the paper format, style and fonts as specified in the template.
  2. Please limit your manuscript to 8 pages and check carefully your manuscript for correct use of English before submission.
  3. Please convert your manuscript to PDF format for submission.
  4. To submit the paper, please go to the EasyChair Login Page for APAC2011 by clicking the second button below, and login your EasyChair account:
    1. Click Paper [*NUMBER*].
    2. Click “Update information” and update any information about your submission. Tick either “Oral Session” or “Poster Session” to indicate your preference of presentation.  Note that the LOC has the right to make the final decision on whether your paper is to be presented orally or by poster.  An oral presentation is 15 minutes, while a poster session lasts for approximately 3 hours.
    3. Click “Change Information” to confirm the changes.
    4. Click “Submit a new version”.  Upload your paper in PDF format.
    5. Click “Submit a New Version” to finalize your submission of full paper.
    6. Repeat the above procedures for your other submissions, if any.
    7. Sign out EasyChair.
  5. Authors are required to submit papers by June 30, 2011.  Notification of final acceptance will be sent to authors before July 31, 2011.

Points to note

  • If you have not accessed the EasyChair conference system before, please click "sign up for an account" and follow the instructions to create a new user account.  You may proceed with the paper submission after successful registration.
  • If you have already signed up an EasyChair account for other conferences, you may use the same account to login and submit your papers.
  • Please complete the online submission form, such as authors’ information, paper title, keywords, etc., and type the contents of abstract (300-400 words) into the box provided and upload your full paper in PDF format for the first submission. Both Word and PDF files will be required when finally accepted.
  • Authors may present problems that are theoretical, computational, experimental, or field observations in nature. The problem, methodology, and key findings should be clearly stated in the abstract and described in the paper.
  • Abstracts and full papers will be peer-reviewed. Accepted papers will be published in a volume of conference proceedings on CD. The proceedings will be submitted for indexing by Conference Proceedings Citation Index - Science(Thomson Reuters).
  • The official language for the conference is English.
  • Presentation at the conference may be in the form of oral presentation or poster presentation. Each registrant is allowed to present at most one paper at the conference.
