Synopsis
Engineering is art, not science. Science is rigid. Art is flexible. This flexibility offers engineers opportunities to innovate and beautify. An engineer can, and must, create structures that are aesthetically pleasing. Aesthetics is important because to have quality in our life, we must have quality in our environment. To have quality in our environment, we must pay attention to the aesthetics of the structures surrounding us, including bridges.
