Dr C P Wong obtained his First Class degree from the University of Nottingham, and two master degrees and a PhD degree from the University of Hong Kong. He is a Chartered Engineer and has over 10 years’ engineering experience in both academic and professional areas. His extensive experience consisted of traffic survey, travel demand analysis, transport modeling, and traffic impact assessment. He involved in numerous large-scale traffic management projects and was responsible for delivering traffic engineering designs, and formulating permanent and temporary traffic management schemes. Recently, Dr. Wong has focused on conducting researches on public transport demand modelling and management. He has over 30 research outputs including publications in top-ranking journals and presentations in numerous international conferences.

Dr C P Wong is now responsible for handling construction projects and organizing student activities of Project Mingde. He led more than 100 university students visiting Guangxi and Vietnam to build schools and facilities in impoverished villages or disastrous areas, and to let them contribute their skills and knowledge to the society.
