 The Second Lumb Lecture |

The Second Lumb Lecture was delivered by Professor Kenji Ishihara of the Department of Civil Engineering, Chuo University, Tokyo and the Science University of Tokyo. He is also the former President of the International Society for Soil Mechanics and Geotechnical Engineering (ISSMGE). The lecture was held on October 24, 2002 at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre and the title of the lecture was "Failure of Slopes and Soil Property Characterization". |
