YK Cheung Lecture

To recognize Professor Y.K. Cheung's contributions to the engineering profession and education, the Department of Civil Engineering of The University of Hong Kong (HKU) and the Structural Division of The Hong Kong Institution of Engineers (HKIE) have jointly established the "Y.K. Cheung Lecture" to be given biennially by a prominent local or overseas engineer or academic on the state-of-the-art developments in structural engineering.

The Fifth Y.K. Cheung Lecture entitled "Predicting the Durability of Concrete Structures" will be delivered by Professor Nick Buenfeld, Head of Department of Civil & Environmental Engineering, Professor of Concrete Structures, Imperial College London. The Lecture will be held at 7:00 p.m. February 28, 2019 (Thursday) in the Rayson Huang Theatre of The University of Hong Kong.
